Longboat Key

Another Perfect Day in Paradise. It was cool but not cold, sunny but not hot and just a hint of a breeze. An absolutely wonderful day to skate 18.7 miles on Longboat Key. We skated South in two groups and returned in about 3 groups. The slowest group was doing around 10-11 mph. Everyone did the 18.7 miles. It felt strange doing the skate without Jeff B. Hope he and Darlene B are having fun on their vacation. Believe this was the first Longboat Key skate for Andrea, Karen P and John.

Our normal Brunch location, Isabelle's is no longer. Steve G recommended the Blue Dolphin so we Brunched there. We got into the Blue Dolphin quickly and they seated us at a big round table which worked great. Everyone could easily talk to every one else. The food came reasonably quick and was very good. All rated their Brunch between 9 and 10. However the servers were stressed and not that friendly. I had to go up to the main counter and ask for silverware and they were almost out. We got in and out in less than an hour.
