The Next Blade & Brunch Adventure

Sept-5-10  @ 8:30AM  Wall Springs Park;  Wall Springs Park is a brand new (but small) park in north Pinellas County. It has plenty of parking and restrooms and is adjacent to the Pinellas Trail. Directions: Wall Springs Park is at Brevard St. and the Pinellas Trail. At the corner of Brevard St. and Alt 19 (Paradise Nursery on NE corner) go West about 1 block. Brevard St. is located South of Klosterman Rd, just south of the trail's tunnel under Alt 19 and North of Alderman Rd.

Sept-12-10  @ 8:30AM  North Shore Dr NE Downtown St. Pete;  Meet in the parking lot on the NE corner of 12th Ave NE and North Shore Dr NE in downtown St. Pete. Coming from the North, take Exit 23B (old Exit 11) off I 275. Coming from the South, take Exit 23A (old Exit 10) off I 275.  Both exits run into Beach Drive at 4th Ave NE.  Go left (North) on Beach Drive to 12th Ave NE.  Turn right (East) onto 12th Ave NE and go across North Shore Dr NE into the parking lot.  (Map)

Sept-19-10
@ 8:30AM  Long Center;  The Long Center is located at 1501 N Belcher Rd between Drew St and Sunset Point Rd in Clearwater.  Drew St is just North of Gulf to Bay Blvd, Hwy 60.  Sunset Point Rd is the next major road North of Drew St.  Belcher is the first major road West of Hwy 19.  Parking at the Long Center is much better than at Safety Harbor Marina.  Let's see how this works.

Sept-26-10
@ 8:30AM  Pink Streets/Skyway Access Trail;  We meet at the picnic parking area in Maximo Park.  Take Exit 16 off I 275 to Pinellas Point Drive.  At Pinellas Point Drive, turn to the West and into Maximo Park. Inside Maximo Park, at the “y” in the road, go to the left and park in the picnic area parking. Depending upon the conditions, we will decide to either skate the Pink Streets or the Skyway Bridge Access Trail. Both are easily available from Maximo Park.

Oct-3-10
@ 8:30AM  Clearwater Beach;  Go to the Clearwater Memorial Causeway and turn onto Island Way. Proceed a couple of blocks North on Island Way to the Publix Parking Lot (200 Island Way) (Map)

Oct-10-10
@ 8:30AM  Main Street Dunedin;  Meet in the parking lot on the SW corner of Main St. & the Trail. Main Street is Hwy 580 and runs along the North side of Countryside Mall on Hwy 19. Go West on Main Street from Hwy 19 until you come to the Trail. Go East on Main Street from Alt 19 to the Trail. Be careful not to confuse Alt 19 and Hwy 19.

Oct-17-10
@ 8:30AM  Pass-a-Grille;  Meet on 8th Ave. The Seahorse Restaurant is on 8th Ave. and Gulf Blvd/Pass A Grille Way, the main road. Parking on 8th Ave is free. If you don't park on 8th Ave, be prepared to pay $2 to a parking meter.
