May-20-12 @ 9:00AM Pink Streets/Skyway Bridge Access Trail
We meet at the picnic parking area in Maximo Park. Take Exit 16 off I-275 to Pinellas Point Drive. At Pinellas Point Drive, turn to the West and into Maximo Park. Inside Maximo Park, at the "y" in the road, go to the left and park in the picnic area parking. Depending upon the conditions, we will decide to either skate the Pink Streets or the Skyway Bridge Access Trail. Both are easily available from Maximo Park.

May-27-12 @ 9:00AM Curlew Rd & Alt 19 on the Trail
Meet in the Publix parking lot. Curlew Rd is Hwy 586. Curlew is the first major road North of Countryside Mall on Hwy 19. Go West on Curlew from Hwy 19 until you get to Alternate 19. The Publix parking lot is located on the NE corner of the intersection of Curlew and Alt 19. The Trail crosses Curlew and runs parallel to Alt 19. Be careful not to confuse Highway 19 with Alt 19.

Jun-03-12 @ 9:00AM Taylor Park
Meet in the North parking lot off 8th Ave SW in Largo. Access 8th Ave SW by using 113th St or Indian Rocks Rd. 8th Ave. SW is North of Ulmerton Rd and just South of West Bay Dr. We will Skate the Pinellas Trail or the neighborhoods.

June-10-12 @ 9:00AM The Lakes / Mainlands / Gateway Center
Brunch and Pool Party at Ginnie S's House Afterwards
Take 49th St N to the traffic light at the corner of Quaker Steak & Lube (Lake Blvd, 103rd Ave N). Go East on Lake Blvd to 39th St N. At 39th St N turn right (South) and go to 105th Ave N. Turn left (East) onto 105th Ave N. Ginnie's house is the 2nd house on the left at 3885 105th Ave N, Clearwater, FL 33762. Click on MAP for a detailed map. You can park anywhere along the avenues and streets but please don't park on opposite sides as this restricts traffic. Ginnie has a nice pool so bring a bathing suit and towel to enjoy the pool. Maps of the skate/bicycle route will be handed out at Ginnie's.

Jun-17-12 @ 9:00AM Upper Tampa Bay Trail
We will meet at the trail head on Waters Ave just West of Sheldon Road. Two ways to go to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail:

49th St. Way:
Take 49th St to McMullen Booth Road north to 580. Turn east. This turns into Tampa Road which turns into Hillsborough Blvd. Take this to Country Way (there is a Walgreens on the corner) turn north into the Country Way subdivision. Take this north to the first stop sign, which is Waters, turn right or east. Go about 1 mile and the entrance to the trail is on the left (north) just across from the YMCA.

I-275 way:
I-275 towards airport, stay about in the middle lane heading for "Air Cargo" area, When you see the "Memorial Hwy" sign, head that way. Turn left at the Traffic Light onto Memorial Hwy. Memorial Hwy becomes Sheldon Rd as it crosses Hillsborough Ave. Stay on Sheldon and at Waters make a left. On Waters go past the traffic light, over the bridge and take the first right into the parking area for the Trail.

Jun-24-12 @ 9:00AM Wall Springs Park
Meet in the Wall Springs Park parking lot. Wall Springs Park is a brand new park in north Pinellas County. It has plenty of parking and restrooms and is adjacent to the Pinellas Trail. Directions: Wall Springs Park is at Brevard St. and the Pinellas Trail. At the corner of Brevard St. and Alt 19 (Paradise Nursery on NE corner) go West about 1 block. Brevard St. is located South of Klosterman Rd, just south of the trail's tunnel under Alt 19 and North of Alderman Rd.

Everyone is responsible for their own safety! Safety gear is always recommended and worn by most of the group.
