Ft. Desoto East Beach

Another Beautiful Day in Paradise. Well…. The wind was blowing out of the SW about 20 to 25 mph. We decided to do only the E-W portion of the Ft. Desoto trail. However when we got to the Fort, some skaters decided to do the N-S beach as it would be fun going North so they did. They paid the price coming back against the wind. For the first time we had more bicyclers than skaters. Ten bicyclers in all. Rita and Janet joined us for the first time. Amy joined us. Absentees Shannon and Paula joined us. Welcome all.

We brunched at Skyway Jacks as planned. We got in in about 5 minutes. They were rather slow at waiting on us, but generally gave us service. We sat at three tables and everyone was being social. Rob rated the brunch a 9.5.
